Privacy & Confidentiality Policy

Here we explain how we protect your data and safeguard your confidentiality at every stage of your interaction with Oxygen Center.

Last updated: October 2026

Your privacy and the confidentiality of your information are among our core principles. This policy explains what data we collect through this website, why, how we protect it, and your rights regarding it.

1Who is responsible for your data

Oxygen Center for psychiatry and addiction treatment is responsible for the data related to this website and to your contact with us. For any question about your data, use the contact details on the contact page.

2What this website collects

The website currently has no form for sending data, and it never asks for your name, your phone number or anything about your situation. Booking and questions are by phone or WhatsApp only. We use no tracking or advertising cookies. Like any website, the hosting company may keep short-lived technical records of a visit, such as the device's internet address and the browser type, to run and protect the site.

3When you call us or message us on WhatsApp

What you tell us by phone or on WhatsApp is used only by the center's team to arrange your appointment and help you; we do not use it for marketing, sell it, or share it for any other purpose. WhatsApp messages pass through WhatsApp (Meta) and are subject to its policy, and may be processed on servers outside Egypt — so we advise you not to write details about your health in the message; our team will continue with you by phone.

4Medical confidentiality

We adhere to the highest standards of medical confidentiality. Your case and treatment information is accessed only by the relevant medical team, and is never shared with any external party except with your explicit consent or where required by law.

5The GASER assistant

GASER is an automated assistant that answers general questions using this website's information only. It runs inside your browser: your messages to it are not sent to any server and are not saved, and they disappear when you close the page. GASER does not give diagnoses or medical advice and never asks for personal data.

6Patients under 18

We see teenagers aged 15 and over and do not provide services for children. Booking and treatment for anyone under 18 require the consent of a parent or guardian.

7Data protection

We take reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or use, while noting that the security of any transmission over the internet cannot be absolutely guaranteed.

8Cookies

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. If you change the language with the language button, we save your choice in a small cookie in your browser for one year, so the site opens in your language on your next visit; it holds only the language ("ar" or "en") and is used for nothing else. If you pick dark or light mode with the sun/moon button, your choice is saved in your own browser only, so it stays the same on your next visit; it is never sent to us or anyone else. The Google map on the contact page loads only if you press "Show the map", and it may then use Google's own cookies. You can clear these choices at any time in your browser settings.

9Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, using the contact details on the contact page. You also have the right to file a complaint with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, and the date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.

For any question regarding your privacy or data, reach out via our contact page.
